Summary of SolvroTalk: Hands-on Workshops on Blockchain and Solana with SuperTeam Poland

On April 15, 2025, in room 201 of building D21, another event from the SolvroTalk series took place—practical workshops dedicated to programming on blockchain, with particular emphasis on the Solana ecosystem. The meeting gathered about 45 participants and was organized thanks to cooperation with SuperTeam Poland and grant support.

What happened?

The workshops were led by Adam Maciejczuk, a member of the Solvro team and an active member of SuperTeam Poland. Participants had the opportunity to learn the basics of blockchain technology, find out how Solana works and why it is gaining popularity, and also write their first smart contract in the Rust language (as the entire meeting took the form of interactive workshops). Attendees also had the chance to learn about real use cases and tools used in the Solana ecosystem. A relaxed, learning-friendly atmosphere prevailed during the event, and participants were energized by every student's favorite meal—pizza—fully funded by a grant from SuperTeamPL.

Why is this important?

The event aimed to introduce blockchain technology to students and young developers in a practical way. Solana, as a fast and scalable smart contract platform, is becoming increasingly important in the web3 world, and the skills gained during the workshops can significantly enhance participants' competence in the job market.
