Student Activity Days and Faculty of Information and Communication Technology Activity Days – Fall 2024!

The end of October is certainly a time full of inspiration at Wrocław Tech. On October 22 and again on October 23, the KN Solvro Science Club participated in two important events at Wrocław Tech: the Student Activity Days (DAS) and the Faculty of Computer Science and Telecommunications Activity Days (DAWIT). These were days filled with inspiring meetings, where students had the opportunity to get to know our KN Solvro Science Club better, explore ongoing projects, and learn about development opportunities in IT, technology, and soft skills. DAYS OF FACULTY OF COMPUTER SCIENCE AND TELECOMMUNICATIONS ACTIVITY We began promoting KN Solvro at the Faculty of Computer Science and Telecommunications Activity Days. We prepared our booth carefully so that students of Wrocław Tech could discover the wide range of development opportunities our Science Club offers. We showcased our projects and initiatives that support the growth of technological passions. Team members wore hoodies and caps with the KN Solvro logo, and next to the booth, there was a banner with our motto: "Opening the door to the world of IT." These words perfectly reflect our mission – we want to be a place open to anyone who wishes to develop their skills in IT and new technologies. Full team mobilization is our hallmark! Members of our Science Club were present at the booth at all times, always ready to answer questions, present ongoing projects, and talk about the development opportunities that joining KN Solvro provides. We wanted interested students to feel our passion for IT and discover the benefits of being part of an organization that emphasizes collaboration, mutual support, and motivation. 🤝 Additionally, our booth attracted attention with posters about recruitment to KN Solvro and a large number of colorful stickers related to our Club. The stickers featured various designs – from cats at a computer to sharks… because we're quite the code sharks. 🦈🦈🦈 There was also something sweet, as it's obvious that discussions about development in KN Solvro gain momentum when you can have a snack. 😅 STUDENT ACTIVITY DAYS The next day, with the same enthusiasm and preparation, we took part in the Student Activity Days (DAS) in building C-13. This was particularly important as we had the chance to meet students from various faculties of Wrocław Tech and emphasize that KN Solvro is a place for everyone – regardless of whether someone is solely interested in IT technologies or has more developed soft skills. In our Club, there is a place for both programmers and individuals who want to develop their talents in areas like UX/UI Design, Project Management, or Social Media. 💻✨ The KN Solvro booth at DAS attracted many students who eagerly asked about the recruitment details and the specifics of work in our Club. We shared information about activities in various sections, as well as showcased the diverse projects we are currently running. For some people who visited our booth, it was their first encounter with the idea of science clubs, as it's their first year at Wrocław Tech, so we were happy to talk about the benefits and opportunities that KN Solvro provides. Many students also installed our ToPWR app, which was created to support the student community at Wrocław Tech. This mobile app is proof that KN Solvro responds to student needs and works on real projects. 🔥💪 DAYS FULL OF INSPIRATION The Faculty of Computer Science and Telecommunications Activity Days and the Student Activity Days were a great opportunity for us to introduce the concept of the Club to Wrocław Tech students. Our goal is not only technological development but also shaping soft skills and fostering passions. KN Solvro is definitely a place that helps lay the first steps in the IT world, offering support and the possibility of working on real projects. Through participation in the Club, our members gain valuable experience, building a solid foundation for their future careers. 📈 Thanks to the dedication of our members in preparing and presenting the Club, as well as the positive reception from students, we consider DAS and DAWIT a success. We know that through this promotion, we encouraged more students to apply to KN Solvro. We eagerly await new members! We are opening the doors to the world of IT, but not only... We just want to make the best use of study time with an amazing team. 💙
