With great pride and joy, we announce that Science Club Solvro has been awarded the title of Strategic Science Club at Wrocław Tech for the year 2026!

This is a special reason for us to celebrate. Not only because this prestigious award is in our hands for the second consecutive year, but also because we are the only Science Club from the Faculty of Computer Science and Telecommunications that has made it into this elite group!



Although the award's name is the same, for us, this title feels completely different than it did last year. Back then, it was a vote of confidence. Today, it is solid proof that we have chosen the right direction and can deliver results at the highest level.

What is the Strategic Club?

Before we talk about ourselves, it's worth explaining the significance of this success. The status of a Strategic Club is the highest distinction at Wrocław Tech, awarded annually through a competition to a narrow group of organizations (only 6 clubs in the 2026 edition!) that demonstrate outstanding achievements, undertake key innovative projects for the university, and have significant development potential.

What have we achieved over the last 12 months?

The year 2025 was a time of incredible growth for us. Our community has expanded to 161 members, who operate in 10 thematic sections on a daily basis. We are consistently pursuing the mission of "Digitizing Student Life" - Solvro applications (ToPWR, Planner, Testownik, Eventownik) have generated over 500,000 views combined. We have also confirmed our competencies on the international stage - winning 1st place at HackYeah 2024, 1st place at SynderHacks 2025, and 2nd and 3rd place at the AI x Science Hackathon organized by Google and BeeARD.

What are we preparing for 2026?

• Eventownik: The release of a full-fledged web application (PWA) with a QR code-based ticketing system and an English version.
• ToPWR: Our flagship application is not slowing down. In 2026, we will expand it with additional functionalities – including plans to integrate with Eventownik.
• PromoCHATor: We are preparing an AI-supported tool that will help you find the perfect supervisor and topic for your thesis.
• Research: Collaboration with renowned research groups GMUM and genwro, and the WCSS grant enable us to conduct advanced research on XAI, deepfakes, and LLM. We plan to publish the results of our work at prestigious scientific conferences.
• Summer Solvro Challenge 2026: This is already a tradition, but this time in XXL version. We aim for 300 participants, 7 thematic paths, and a grand finale in the form of a stationary hackathon.

And a ton of other projects that will make 2026 a groundbreaking year.
