Achievements of KN Solvro members – an exceptional semester behind us!
The summer semester of the 2024/2025 academic year was an extremely intense period for the members of the Solvro Science Club—full of growth, prestigious awards, and activities both in the country and abroad. It was not only about new projects and workshops but primarily about people whose efforts were recognized and rewarded at various levels.

Our Presence on the Global and Sports Stage
-
Mateusz Kula represented Wrocław Tech and Poland at the World Orienteering Championships—combining technical skills with top-level physical form!
-
Our members participated in the Unite! international exchange in Graz, where they developed competencies and built inter-university relationships in the European environment.
Hackathons, Inspiring Events, and AI in Practice
-
Our ML section actively supported the PWr Challenge event, where high school students from all over Poland tackled tasks related to artificial intelligence.
-
During the Bard x Google Hackathon, Solvro members took 2nd and 3rd place, demonstrating not only innovative ideas but also the ability to effectively implement them in practice.
The team that took 2nd place included a member of KN Solvro—Oleksii Furman, who co-created the team with Patryk Wielopolski, Filip Stróżik, and Zbigniew Tomanek.
The fully Solvro team won 3rd place: Karolina Nowacka, Dawid Wolkiewicz, Łukasz Lenkiewicz, and Timur Galkin.
-
We participated in events such as Ghost Days, Warszawskie Dni Informatyki, and co-organized the WAIT AI Meetup #10, sharing knowledge from the area of ML and future technologies.
Groundbreaking Projects and Collaborations
-
We are developing our flagship ToPWR app, enriching it, among others, with an English version, overseen by Michał Malicki.
-
Jointly with the Medical University of Wrocław, under the supervision of Konrad Florczak, we started a research-project collaboration as part of a grant.
-
This semester also saw the creation of the official website for the Wrocław Juwenalia 2025, created by our members under the leadership of Pola Abramowicz—combining technology with the atmosphere of a student celebration.
Meetings that Inspire, Connect, and Above All, Teach
We organized the next editions of SolvroTalks—with both our club members and external experts (including a Product Owner from Intel). This format allows us to share knowledge and continually inspire ourselves with the experiences of others.
This semester is yet more proof that Solvro is not just about projects and code. It's also a cohesive team of passionate people who act, develop, and collectively achieve success—at the university, in Poland, and beyond.
We thank all the members of the Club for their immense dedication and congratulate you on your achievements—we are proud of you!
